Amazon Yarapa River Lodge
Peruvian Rainforest Eco-Lodge
Amazon Yarapa River Lodge
Approximately 130km upriver from Iquitos on the Rio Yarapa, this lodge is simply stunning. It has a huge and well-designed tropical biology laboratory, powered by an expensive solar-panel system. Facilities are beautifully maintained and rooms are connected by a series of screened walkways. Eight huge bedrooms with oversized privates bathrooms are available and 16 comfortable rooms share a multitude of well-equipped bathrooms. The trip from Iquitos takes three to four hours. Recommended.
